\nAu cours de cette conférence, Nejmeddine Khalfallah évoquera la relation entre le Cheikh Ahmad al-‘Alâwî et le Cheikh Mohammad al-Madani, présentée comme un modèle de compagnonnage (ṣuḥba) et de service (khidma), reposant sur une complicité spirituelle absolue. Cette relation s’étend de 1910, date de leur toute première rencontre, jusqu’en 1934.\nAprès une mise en contexte historique, les différents volets de cette amitié seront abordés à la fois sur le plan spirituel et initiatique, mais également sur le plan scientifique.\nNejmeddine Khalfallah, enseignant-chercheur à Lyon 3, petit-fils de Cheikh Mohamed al-Madani, est l’auteur d’une soixantaine d’articles et d’ouvrages consacrés notamment à l’exégèse coranique et au langage juridique arabe.
