global_colors_info= »{} »]\n      Le renouveau (tajdid) de la loi islamique (châri‘a) comme vecteur de convergence  \nIbn Hazm (m. 1064), Ibn Taymiyya (1328), Ibn Rushd (Averroès, m. 1198) et Ibn ‘Arabî (m. 1240), incarnent quatre figures éminentes de l’islam que tout semble opposer. Ibn Taymiyya n’est-il pas le plus virulent détracteur d’Ibn ‘Arabî ? Ibn Hazm n’est-il pas perçu comme le précurseur du littéralisme par son rejet de l’école malikite dans l’Andalousie ? Ibn Rushd (Averroès), juriste malikite mais surtout grand commentateur d’Aristote et défenseur de la philosophie grecque face aux juristes-théologiens (fuqaha), n’est-il pas l’une des figures les plus adulées par les modernistes de tout bord ? Ibn ‘Arabî, Sceau des saints pour certains, panthéiste hérétique pour d’autres, n’est-il pas également connu pour être celui qui, malgré son jeune âge, renversa la pensée du vieux sage Averroès ?\nDe nombreuses anecdotes entourent ces figures incontournables, soit pour les encenser ou les diaboliser, soit pour les réhabiliter, les concilier ou les opposer… Mais par-delà leurs divergences doctrinales, leurs pensées semblent converger vers un dénominateur commun : la nécessité de libérer la pensée juridique de l’islam du joug du conformisme (taqlid).  Au cours de cette conférence, Issam Toualbi, nous démontrera comment l’effort d’interprétation (ijtihâd) de ces penseurs, chacun selon sa méthodologie propre, peut nourrir la réflexion des musulmans d’aujourd’hui.\nIssam Toualbi-Thaâlibî est Docteur en Droit de l’Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne) et diplômé en Théologie et Religions de l’Université d’Alger I. Il est Professeur en Histoire des institutions islamiques à la Faculté de Droit d’Alger I, et titulaire de la Chaire Unesco Emir Abdelkader pour les Droits de l’Homme et la Culture de Paix.
