Nasruddîn), personnage légendaire à la fois excentrique, sage et bouffon, ont été transmis oralement de génération en génération, de la Méditerranée à l’Extrême-Orient. Dans le sillage d’une sagesse populaire, ces histoires sont irriguées par les enseignements du soufisme, dimension mystique de l’islam.\nPar leurs aspects intemporels, les contes de Joha demeurent d’une étonnante actualité. Tels des miroirs de notre âme, ils reflètent notre propre vanité, nos illusions, nos errements… Joha représente en cela une figure spirituelle, dont l’attitude déconcertante vise à susciter en nous une perplexité, un choc salvateur.\nAu fil de ces 70 récits drolatiques, dont les messages cachés et profonds sont éclairés par l’auteur Faouzi Skali, les mots de Joha viennent comme par fulgurances inspirer notre façon d’être et d’agir. \n\nFaouzi Skali est Professeur-Chercheur des Universités, anthropologue, auteur, spécialiste du soufisme et du dialogue inter-religieux. Il a été nommé par Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI membre du Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel (HACA) de 2011 à 2018. Il est président du Festival de Fès de la Culture Soufie dont il est l’initiateur, de même qu’il a fondé en 1994 le Festival de Fès des Musiques Sacrées du Monde qu’il a dirigé jusqu’à sa vingtième édition, en Juin 2014. Pour l’année 2001, il a été désigné par l’ONU comme personnalité ayant contribué de façon significative au dialogue des civilisations. (www.un.org/Dialogue/heroes.htm).
