Sans doute parce que ce mois a une « saveur » particulière, qui au-delà de la nourriture ordinaire est à rechercher dans les actes d’adoration (‘ibâda) et de contemplation (mushâhada). \nLa recherche de la beauté est une véritable discipline spirituelle. Elle consiste à reconnaitre les signes de Dieu, autour de nous et en nous-mêmes. En éduquant nos sens, elle transforme notre monde extérieur et notre monde intérieur. Elle nous enseigne l’humilité et nous apporte la paix.\nC’est ce dont nos cinq intervenants, chacun selon sa sensibilité, son art, vont nous parler tout au long de ce mois sacré. Ce mot, issu du verbe jawwada, exprime une notion intensive : s’efforcer à rendre beau, viser l’excellence. Al-Tajwîd signifie donc « la mise en beauté » de la lecture du Coran, et se traduit communément en français par « psalmodie ». L’utilisation de ce vocabulaire montre l’intention qui doit animer celui qui lit le Coran : réciter d’une belle manière pour faire honneur au Texte et lui restituer sa saveur originelle.
